Privacy Policy
In plain language. We collect the information needed to run NxJumps: your account details and what you do in the app. We use it to provide and improve the Service, and we do not sell it. Some of our service providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States. You can ask to see or correct your information, and you can contact our Privacy Officer any time. This summary is for convenience only; the full Policy below governs.

We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Where you are located outside Canada, additional or different laws may apply, and we will identify those in supplementary terms as our Service expands.

3. Why We Collect, Use, and Disclose It (Purposes)
We identify the purposes for which we collect personal information at or before the time of collection. We use personal information to:
- create and administer your account and provide the Service;
- personalize, organize, and contextualize research and analytics based on your inputs;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service (we do not sell your personal information);

5. Service Providers and Disclosure
We disclose personal information to third-party service providers that perform functions on our behalf, under contractual obligations to protect it and use it only for the purposes we specify. These currently include providers of cloud hosting and infrastructure, AI model processing, analytics, and customer support.
We may also disclose personal information: to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a lawful request from a regulator or authority; to enforce our Terms; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; and in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to protect the information consistent with this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Storage Outside Canada
Some of our service providers store or process personal information outside British Columbia and outside Canada, including in the United States. When personal information is held in another jurisdiction, it is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to its courts, law-enforcement, and regulatory authorities. By using the Service, you acknowledge this cross-border storage and processing. Questions about the providers we use and how to contact them can be directed to our Privacy office.
7. Safeguards
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information to protect it against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a privacy breach occurs that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the appropriate authorities as required under applicable Canadian privacy law.
8. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and to meet legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements, after which we securely delete or anonymize it.
9. Your Rights: Access and Correction
Subject to limited exceptions in PIPEDA and PIPA, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you and request correction of inaccuracies. To make a request, contact our Privacy office. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
